Everyday I am seeing or reading in the papers or news, of knife crimes. I can remember years ago, it was safe to walk outside, go to the shops, play in th eparks. Now-a-days, All we see and hear are about racial attacks, stabbings, happy slappings, gun crimes and natural disasters.

If anything this is a wake up call to everyone, to start thinking about each other, and to start seeing beyond the colour and religion of a person. We need more police walking the beat, and less behind desks. We need more neighbourhood watch schemes, and more community activities to intergrate everyone, rather than isolate them.

I agree that anyone carrying a gun or knife should be sent to jail for at least 5 years. There is no reason to walk around with any of these items. This country is starting to become like America, where gun and knife crimes are on the increase. Maybe we need the schools to start taking a tougher stance on bullying, and to educate students on all cultures. Maybe we need parents to be more responsible for there childrens upbringing.

Lets hope we can change Britain, back to the safe and green country, it once was.

Do you think we will have a white Christmas in London?
